Terrible Customer Service

I’m currently away at military training and attempted to cancel my membership before the renewal date. Unfortunately, due to limited service where I’m stationed, I wasn’t able to confirm the cancellation before the charge went through. As soon as I was able to access a location with stable service, I contacted customer support to explain the situation and formally request both a cancellation and a refund. The representative informed me that my membership was successfully canceled, but saying that they don’t know why I want to cancel and proceeding to mention the number of matches available to me. I reiterated that I would like a refund as well, especially since the renewal had only occurred a day prior and the service has not worked for me, none of the dogs were within my proximity and I haven’t been able to use the platform as intended. After making this request, communication from your team abruptly stopped. I find this extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I understand policies exist, but under these circumstances, I believe a refund is fair and reasonable. Please follow up with me regarding this request as soon as possible.
