DO NOT UPGRADE TO PRO

I upgraded to the pro version and it got rid of a lot of the features I liked about the app!!! I mean who makes you pay and takes things away?!? I cannot change my canvas size to 18 or type anymore! Just crazy!

Randomly stopped working

I downloaded the app with the free version to explore making my own patterns. I ended up upgrading to the pro version because i genuinely enjoyed using the app. Recently, the app crashes and closes on its own or it opens and then freezes. I hate giving this app 1 star because I did enjoy using it, but this random crash and freeze makes the app completely unusable now.

Pro isn’t worth it

I liked this app it was easy to draw a simple pattern with DMC colors though it’s missing all colors below 150 and it has no metallic, or other speciality colors. I even bought the “pro” version to be able to export it as a pdf but it doesn’t export a key/legend to tell you the DMC colors. It doesn’t export as a symbol chart either so you can’t use it easily with any mark up apps. Lot of potential but when there is no way to contact the developer since their help section on here takes you to a website that brings you back here.

The app isn’t working properly anymore for some reason

So the primary reason I use this app is to upload my own photos to make into patterns and stitch them, both in the app and in real life. It used to let me do it with ease, but for some ungodly reason, one day, without even updating the app or anything, the toolbars at both the top and bottom of the screen like…shifted partway out of reach and now I can barely use the bottom one and can’t use the top one at all, which is the most important one for me personally because that’s the toolbar with the option to upload your own images. I’ve tried powering my phone on and off, even deleting the app and redownloading it, but the result is the same. I paid for the pro version as well so this is extra disappointing. I tried contacting the developer on LinkedIn because that’s their only social it seems, so I had to make my own account but someway or another I messed it up and now it’s restricting my account until I send a photo of my government ID, which I am not doing. If anybody can hear my plea, then please GOD. This app was what worked best for me. I was really satisfied with it. Surely there’s a way to fix this??

I. Love. This. App.

This is by far the best app for patterns in Cross-stitch that I’ve used. I even bought an android tablet so that I can use pattern keeper and I’d still rather use this app. I started with the free version and loved it so much that I bought the pro version and love it even more. I’d love to see the following in future updates: the ability to manipulate an image as far as individual corners and sides instead of just uniformly zooming in and out, the ability to add DMC colors and numbers, and finally the ability to mark an individual square for parked threads. One more thing, when adding a new pattern, the app has 5-10 reminder popups, it would be great if there was a “do not remind, see ‘?’ for info” check box somewhere to disable that feature.
