Developer lies about the app’s star rating, based on the OLD Pile, now crippled & abandoned!!
The OLD Pile was great. Now the developer has crippled it, yet uses the high star rating the OLD Pile received. It was loved by the users, and it has been rendered unusable. Paid users who purchased a life time subscription to the OLD Pile have not received an upgrade code, nor are they automatically switched over with their content in tact. They must manually bring all their OLD Pile content in one by one, even Evernote had a reasonable export and import option, and look at what happened to them when greed set in. As for this new version: First, the app info mentions a one year introduction price of $12.99. That is not reflected in the app itself. When you try to subscribe, all you get is a $23 a year option. That’s the second turn off. Furthermore, you must start from scratch. There’s is no way to import your OLD Pile clippings. It’s a complete chaos, motivated by greed, and made worse by the developer’s unkind treatment of his formerly loyal and happy customers. Finally, I find it really gross that the developer blatantly lies about the NEW Pile’s star rating. Instead of being honest about the 1.4 star rating he quotes the OLD Pile’s 4.3 star rating. That shouldn’t even be allowed, as it is false advertising! Apple should crack down on that “toute-suite!”The developer’s behavior should tell you all you need to know, and give you serious pause as to whether you can trust him not to just abandon this project as well, leaving people bait and switched and dropped altogether. I find the entire experience in poor taste all around.

Horrible
The developer screwed paid users by relaunching the same app under a new name. Paid again and he screwed paid users a second time by abandoning the app. Absolutely deplorable!
