About Speak Spanish: Palteca
Palteca uses teaching methods that are rooted in science, making it one of the most effective ways to quickly learn and speak Spanish. Unlike the majority of the language learning apps on the market today that try to offer a tiny bit of many languages, Palteca offers an in-depth learning experience for Spanish.
---------------------------
THE PALTECA METHOD
1. WATCH REAL NATIVE SPEAKERS: Palteca uses Comprehensible Input (CI), giving you content that is entirely in Spanish spoken by real speakers in real conversations. Our curriculum is built to teach you the most important words first, and over the course of the following days/weeks, continue to reinforce these same words through repeated exposure. This makes remembering much easier
2. SPEAK FROM DAY 1: Get instant feedback so you can begin speaking confidently, while responding to real native Spanish speakers
3. TRAIN YOUR EARS: The sounds in Spanish are different from English and other languages. So we will teach you how to distinguish between similar-sounding words, giving you the ability to better listen to native speakers
4. LEARN HOW TO LEARN A LANGUAGE: Palteca starts by getting you ready to learn how to learn a language. Many people try to learn languages through apps, but grow bored and frustrated when they realize the method isn’t working. Palteca gives you the roadmap to Spanish fluency in and out of the app

Definitely worth a try
After about 2 months of lessons and activities, I feel like this is an overlooked app that you don’t hear much about. It somewhat follows the Fluent Forever ideas and offers a good mix of materials. I had originally complained to the (very responsive) developer about some of the questions having answers that were "ambiguous", but as I am learning more, I'm realizing that even the multiple choice questions really make you think about the answer. Because of this, I'm finding the lessons "stick" better. Using Babbel as a counter example, sometimes their answer is so obvious that it could be picked without even knowing any of the language. Lessons are short enough to easily fit in a busy day, but not so short as to be "gamified." As a beginner, the lessons so far haven’t been "hard", but they can be challenging. I’m enjoying them each day. Everyone learns differently, so your mileage may vary, but for me - having tried all of the big names (Babbel, Busuu, Rosetta, etc) - this is definitely worth a look.

great app! i like the 3 lessons a day, helps me retain the lessons. but i hate that you can only learn 3 topics before they force you to pay :(
