About Domika
Domika is an unofficial Home Assistant app designed for simplicity. While it doesn’t cover every feature—like setting up new devices, creating automations, or adding integrations—it focuses on what you do most often. Domika makes it easy to turn off lights, adjust the AC, or close the garage in a straightforward, convenient way. Plus, it offers unique features:
— Home screen widgets
— Lock screen buttons
— Control center buttons
— Critical push notifications for events like fire or water leaks
If you have multiple Home Assistant instances, Domika has you covered! You can add widgets and controls from multiple homes.
Domika dashboards are free to use. A subscription is only needed for system widgets, critical push notifications, and shortcuts.

Cool idea, poorly executed
I think this a neat idea, basically a native HomeKit style dashboard that’s super easy to create on mobile that links to HA; however, it’s unusable for me at the moment. Camera live views throw an error, so I can’t view my cameras. Camera thumbnails also have the wrong aspect ratio and look stretched. There is no support for alarm control panels at all which is a deal breaker. Security devices, like cameras and alarm control panels are the most important thing to have access to via mobile and neither of those work. UI is ok, but not super pretty. More customization would be nice. Mini graph cards to show sensor history would be a nice addition.

My wife loves me (again)
I had HomeAssistant for a while, and while i always liked using it, my wife thought it was too geeky and could not figure it out. Now with this app - the dashboards and widgets are easy for her … and I also like the simplicity and the easy UI to build the dashboards.
