Issue with crashing
I’ve had Clinical Notes AI for about 4 months and have been using the browser to capture notes. It’s hit and miss- most of the time it captures, but sometimes it crashes mid-session, so when I found the app last week, I was hopeful. I discovered quickly that your phone has to stay unlocked and active (you can’t lock the screen or have it set to auto lock/sleep), otherwise it won’t record. That’s an easy enough fix. However, I’ve had several sessions in the past week where it was recording when I set my phone down and when I went to close out the note after session, the app was open but it had gone back to the main screen. No note. I made the mistake of purchasing an entire year subscription, so I’m going to keep with it for another 8 months, but I am disappointed. I’ve referred several friends to Clinical Notes AI because it does save me time when it works. However, I’m paying more for this service than it would cost me to use the AI platform my EHR just rolled out and I’m not convinced it’s worth it. Which is really too bad, because I wanted to love this program and app.
