ZBE Bilbao EGE

A Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) is a specific or delimited area of the city, where measures are implemented with the aim of improving air quality and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions. These measures imply certain restrictions on access, circulation and parking of the most polluting motor vehicles, depending on their “environmental distinctive”, a classification carried out by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) taking into account the environmental impact produced by each vehicle. There are different exemptions and moratoriums regulated by Municipal Ordinance and this APP manages the applications, processing and notices related to the LEZ Bilbao.
