Sadly, a waste of decent potential.
Now, this app really can only possibly excel in convenience. almost all of these wallpapers have been out there for years. So, if an app is wanting to base its entire premise off JUST these apple wallpapers, it has to be good. And this app isn't in a good state. Firstly, its sluggish. It crashes often from the simplest of things (say, trying to load any of the images). There is no possible previewing, leading you to have to check to find out there's a subscription. To be continued later. Some of the older MacOS releases seem to be missing a few wallpapers, in Mavericks case, missing its main wallpaper somehow as a whole? There also isn't anything pre OS X 10.7, which is a shame. I could honestly see much more value for having high-res remakes of say, classic OS 9 wallpapers. But at the moment, there isn't even the original low-res versions of the OS X 10.5 wallpapers. Now, 1.99 isn't much. Nothing in life is free, and the time to create apps and do the work to gather all this is a commitment. But for the current product offered, I don't see the value in even paying for one month of the subscription. If there had been any form of one time payment, I could see myself purchasing it just to support the work to make a better app. But it is what it is. I wish the developer the best in their future endeavors.

Not saying you have to make everything available for free, but it's not a very cheap app, and to not even preview what you're getting..... You could at least let free users viewed dimmed thumbnails without being able to expand any of them or save them, so you could at least decide if you like anything enough to pay money. Unfortunately just uninstalling because I would have considered paying for some retro wallpapers but I want to see what's available first.
