Leon's Mahjong is a retro pixel-art take on the classic Mahjong solitaire — inspired by a bygone era, and built as a quiet rebellion against today's mobile game industry.

• Family sharing included.
• All future DLCs will be free.

This isn't just a tribute to Mahjong — it's a tribute to my late father, who introduced me to it in the '80s. Now, my son Leon helped shape it as the game's smallest (and loudest) stakeholder.

Three generations. One love for games.

I hope you enjoy playing Leon's Mahjong as much as I enjoyed building it.

Too hard to see the tile layers

I enjoy the absence of commercials. However, it is too difficult to see the tile layers for someone who is older.

Problems resolved

When I first downloaded, the tiles looked blurry. The developer had replied that it might’ve been the version of my operating system. I didn’t have a chance to check that because I had deleted the app. After a few iOS updates, I decided to re-download the app and give it another try, and I guess that was the issue, because now it’s crystal clear. The only thing I don’t love is that the game can only be played in landscape mode, which is not very comfortable for my hands. But other than that it’s probably the game that I play the most. I appreciate the variety of game boards and that the developer isn’t data farming.
