What We're Doing
The Problem
Though we're more connected online than ever before, we are seeing greater signs of the loneliness epidemic among adults. Opportunities for meaningful face-to-face interactions are becoming more and more scarce.
Our Solution
Earthbound is a local group chat platform made to encourage in-person socializing and networking for adults. Users join a queue to be put in a group chat of 3 users. Earthbound also features minimalist user profiles that highlight travel plans and professional backgrounds (imported from LinkedIn), maximizing credibility and reasons to meet now.
Our Core Values
We believe that meeting once is infinitely better than never, especially for adults. We aim to redefine adulthood friendship by introducing the idea that there are lots to be gained from meeting even once through the sharing of journeys, thoughts, ideas and opinions.
