Swag error
Great app to help you but glitches a little
I’ve been using this app for a week and overall it’s a lot of fun to help you practice speaking! I love the broken down lessons and it’s easy to follow along. I know this app is very new still so they still have some things to work on. My only small complaint is sometimes it won’t recognize my voice and clicking the green button doesn’t let me restart. I have to exit the app to reset it. But overall i wish there were more apps like this that make you speak!

Better than Duolingo Korean
As a Korean-American I wanted my kids to practice their Korean. My kids don’t have to write but they need to speak with the grandparents so this is the perfect middle where they get some explanations of the grammar but it’s more heavy on speaking/pronunciation. Compared to Duolingo this is much much better. Duolingo tried to romanize Korean words which was a horrible idea. The advanced levels in Seyo aren’t really kid friendly but aren’t entirely inappropriate (conversations of how to split the bill at a bar). (If the creators could consider the wide range of users and have a kid-friendly setting? Or a kids version? That’d be great!) (not taking any stars off for this) One star off: The chat/AI is a bit slow picking up sounds or loading at times (50% of the time??) - but if you’re patient the chat conversation seems like a great way to practice “chatting with a Korean”. I thought it was worth it and purchased a subscription- will update down the road once I use it more (if the slow loading is too much I may take off another star) 4 stars bc this is as close to real life application as I can get from something automated and cheap.
