Library Bookshelf features:
-Download catalogs through an Internet connection
-Catalogs range from 5 MB to 90 MB in size
-Catalogs are stored locally on your iPad/iPhone and can be viewed with or without an Internet connection (off-line viewing)
-Navigate between catalogs within the bookshelf

-Manage catalogs – sort or delete by accessing the edit function

Pointless waste of time
This is not the app that allows you to shop in their store and there is no other Lee Valley app on the US App store. This app is nothing more than a pdf viewer and not even a good one at that. The catalogs you can download are old, there aren't any hot links that will take you to the website to order the item, and you can't even highlight an item to be able to find it again, can only bookmark the whole page. Frustrating and pointless. I routinely download the app to see if it has improved only to see that it hasn't so I delete it because it isn't worth the memory it takes on my phone.

Unusable; Serious problems
This app is dead on arrival. I just updated to the latest version and downloaded the new U.S. Woodworking Tools catalog. After downloading, the new catalog did. It show up in the bookshelf. After a restart, it shows up in the bookshelf but when I select it, I get “Unable to display document” error message. C’mon, Lee Valley, your tools are excellent but this app is seriously lacking!

This app used to work. Now it will download catalogs, but the bookshelf is empty. Can’t view anything anymore. Removed app. Please fix.

Great way to read catalogs
I see I had written a review 7 years ago (below) and I loved it then. It still works fine FOR THOSE CATALOGS THAT IT WILL SHOW AS DOWNLOADABLE! It seems to miss most of them. This has been ongoing for a long time. Please fix this or bring back paper copies. You won’t sell what we don’t see. I might order from the website, but I choose from browsing a catalog. I may be ordering one item, but flipping through I ALWAYS find more. Old review: This app works great and is an easy way to read the catalogs. I haven't found any problems. Another reviewer reported problems but I didn't have any on my 3rd gen iPad running iOS 7.
