Too many ads
I love the actual gameplay and the art is lovely, but the game is impossible to play due to the bombardment of ads, and $20 is too steep a cost for ad-free. I’ll keep my eye to see if the developers drop the price but otherwise, I’m out.

Hire real artists
Gameplay wise, it’s fun and the mechanics of merging creatures to create new and unique ones is addictive. Solid game overall for the most part. Besides the ads, my real complaint lies within the art for the creatures obviously being AI generated. Don’t get me wrong, AI can be a great tool when it comes to design inspiration, but it can’t replace a real artist while achieving the same level of quality. So many of the designs have inconsistencies and little things that don’t quite make sense, I mean there’s not even an attempt to hide the fact the art is AI. If you’re going to use AI for the art AT LEAST get a real artist to touch up those problem areas to make it less obvious, and give some sort of illusion that there was actual effort put in here. If it weren’t for the AI art, this game would’ve easily been 4-5 stars for me. Shame to see this potential go to waste.
