Don’t bother
This has been a disaster from the moment I got it. Connection issues and more importantly invalid readings for color and real strobe workflow issues. If you think this is going to replace a Sekonic. Not even close. After hours with this, not getting accurate reading with the same strobe between 4870 and 6000. Twice I had to reinstall. Delete from Bluetooth. Once I got it to work for one shot it died again. Eating glass could be more fun. Skip this “toy”. My setup Z9 with 600watt strobe on Manual. Ap on IPhone 16 Pro. Experience shoot high end fashion for top magazines, SI Swimsuit. 20 years photo exp.

Needs to be updated to support iOS 26.1
The app is stuck in German language on my iPhone that updated to iOS 26.1! Even when I change the language to English, it’s still in German!

Works great! Easy, efficient, accurate.
App itself is straight forward and clear to use. I also use Sidus for my Aperture lights and Tentacle for timecode. At first I had hesitation relying on iOS apps but when they’re developed reliably and no fuss to use, I’ve learned to embrace it. The handheld datacolor unit syncs right away and you get battery life display in the app for the physical unit. Measurements in the app are easy to read and moving from Exposure to Color Balance etc. is scrollable at the top of the screen. Another reviewer had concerns about creating an account. I don’t see why this is an issue and you can opt our of sharing performance data. Overall this serves my needs as much as a Sekonic. I do recommend this app and device.

Privacy Concearns
App seems to work. The simple fact that an account has to be created and data collected is definitely not ideal for such a simple tool at this price point. Will keep looking for something else.
