Huge Let Down Compared to the Hardware
This app is a huge let down compared to their range finders. I have the GenePro G1. I was looking forward to pairing the device with the app but this app is just not as intuitive as others. It’s clunky and seems outdated. This version needs to be shelved and a new app needs to be built from the ground up. For anyone having trouble pairing the device to their phone, you have to go into the Bluetooth setting on the range finder to find the bar code to scan in app with your phone. Those instructions are not in the manual.

Bluetooth pairing tip
The instructions for pairing the rangefinder with this app is not well written in the user manual. After fumbling with it for a few minutes myself, finally figured out a couple of things I was doing wrong. Connecting to the rangefinder within my iPhone Bluetooth setting is not necessary, both devices just need to have their Bluetooth functions turned on . Also, the QR code on the instruction manual is just an example. I was trying to scan that and it just would not complete the pairing process. You need to go to the touchscreen of the rangefinder and in the settings, make sure that the Bluetooth function is turned on. Then touch “Bluetooth” and not the toggle on/off switch of the touchscreen. This initiates the generation of the QR code that is specific to your rangefinder and will show up on the touchscreen. This is what you scan this with your phone within the add device function of the app. Then it will pair and the rangefinder will show up within the Mileseey Golf app.
