About Window Sticker Lookup
Get a free copy of your vehicle's original window sticker. The window sticker or sometimes called "Monroney label" (after senator Mike Monroney, who sponsored and passed a bill in 1958 requiring every new vehicle sold in the United States to display a window sticker with basic vehicle information) comes from the auto maker. It includes the vehicle's VIN, standard and optional/installed equipment, warranty information, fuel economy data, and the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).
While a window sticker is legally required to be shown by the seller or dealer when selling a new vehicle, it is not required for used vehicles. However, getting a window sticker for a used car you're looking to buy or sell is important. That way, you will know exactly what features and equipment were installed on the vehicle when it was originally sold new and what the cost of the vehicle was, including the pricing for each optional equipment.
To obtain a window sticker, enter your vehicle's 17-digit VIN or use the scanner feature in the app to scan the vehicle's VIN barcode. The VIN can be found on the driver's side dashboard (which you can see through the glass windshield) or on the sticker inside the driver's door jamb. If the original window sticker is not available from the auto maker for your VIN, we have provided a link to our partner's site to check for availability of a recreated window sticker.

scam app.. NOT free stickers
They avoid the “in-app purchases” designation by referring every vin inquiry to “our sister site”, where you pay $9 if you want the window sticker.
