Decent, could use minor improvements

The functionality is great, and I really appreciate the solid free version and the low one-time cost of the premium version. I feel like it would be more intuitive if the buttons for viewing the history and logging the date were switched. To me, it would make more sense if tapping the name opened the history and tapping the icon logged it. This might not make sense for everyone, so it would be nice to have it as a setting. A button to log a new date in the history view would be nice as well. The “System Default” option in the light/dark mode settings only ever uses light mode, even if the system is set to dark. This isn’t entirely the app’s fault, but it’s really easy to forget to open it. Having a widget on the Home Screen to show the status of a few tasks would make it hard to forget.

App is NOT user friendly

This is an irritating app, because it is not clear how to edit an item. Users end up inadvertently adding dates that they get an item, when that was not the intent at all. It would be very, very helpful if there was a user guide included in the settings area that guided people through how to add items, how to change them, how to add more occurrences or change occurrences. Instead of saying five days apart, it would make more sense for it to say “five days ago" instead. I entered an item that took place on April 2, 2024, and it shows the event as having taken place 423 days apart. this does not make sense, as I would much rather it say this was a year and so many months ago, not many days apart.
