About Weathercaster: Weather Tracker
Weathercaster is the best way to view weather forecasts. Powered by Apple WeatherKit and designed with elegant minimalism, Weathercaster strips away clutter and shows exactly what you need to know using easy-to-read charts. We think everyone can benefit from seeing weather data in this format, but it’s especially useful to boaters, sailors, hikers, and adventurers who navigate by understanding weather trends.
Our charts condense temperature, cloud cover, rain, snow, lightning, and wind speed into a format that is easy to read at a glance.
Privacy first. Always:
We take privacy very seriously and have implemented the most stringent privacy policy possible. We use no third-party analytics, no ads, no trackers, and we only use your location when you specifically ask us to.
Features:
• Fine-tune any forecast location using a map—including remote spots like mountain summits, wilderness areas, and offshore locations.
• Charts powered by WeatherKit showing temperature, cloud cover, rain, snow, storm probabilities, and wind speeds. In the US, WeahterKit uses models and data from NOAA and NWS.
• View precipitation amounts for the past 12–48 hours, and see expected rainfall from upcoming storms.
• View up to 48 hours of past weather history alongside forecasts to spot trends. We believe its always useful to see both forecasts and observations.
• Home Screen widget and Apple Watch app are available for quick, glanceable access to forecasts.
• Forecasts are available offline - you can download a forecast before your adventure and see it while you're off the grid.
• Share forecast charts with friends and export to CSV format to support your professional workflow.
