About Sefer Mormon
Completed in the years 2018–2024 by a team of four professional Israeli linguists, this excellent Hebrew translation of the 1830 English edition of the Book of Mormon is available in several formats—Hebrew text, Hebrew narration, and comparative Hebrew–English text. The Book of Mormon’s history of Jewish prophet-migrants from Jerusalem to the Americas in 600 B.C., until the demise of their civilization in A.D. 421, serves as another witness to humanity of the God of Israel besides the Old and New Testaments.
Drawing on Hebrew prophetic methodology and Jewish scribal tradition, historical records kept by Jewish prophets over a thousand years here appear crafted into a sophisticated scriptural masterpiece, showing the richness of the Hebrew translation to be native to the book’s content. Those who seek to know the God of Israel in the person of Israel’s Messiah will find that his first coming in the Meridian of Time and his second coming in glory are in direct fulfillment of covenants he had made with his people Israel.
