Choose a focus for weekly practice as we change topics each week, for a year. The topics are attitudes and actions/reactions we face during everyday life, like anger, love, reflect, adapt, attachment, resilience, and struggle. Get your marker and profile on our map of mindful movers as we try to "take over the world" with mindfulness!
If you're a health professional or leader of a mindfulness or self-improvement group, the Mindful on the Move App is perfect to guide your clients or group through the process of gradually building self-awareness and reducing stress through mindfulness practice.
Being mindful as you move through the day makes you more aware, relaxed, confident and intentional- as life happens. Eliminate automatic thinking and behaving out of habit. Stop rushing through things to get to the end, and live more fully in each moment.
Join the Mindful on the Move Challenge for articles and practice tools* to build depth into your personal practice and awareness of "self." Cartoons and practices in the app are based on the book Mindful Intelligence: and the Making of You, by T. Rowan. Follow along in the book if you wish as we change topics. We start with the first topic Jan. 1 of each year, and end with the last topic, the final week in December, but you can join the app at any time.
*Tools in the app: optional short quiz on each topic, bar charts at the end of the year comparing topic scores to inform your practice, phone wallpaper as a practice cue each time you pick up your phone, articles, mindfulness bell, insights tracking if you wish, practice ideas, silent hand drawn videos, cartoons, weekly card reading (digital mindfulness cards), cover the map with mindful movers, giveaways, access to practice guidance, comments on practice from users, ongoing additions to the app, and the knowledge that you're making the world a better place by helping us "take over the world" with mindfulness (instead of it happening by competitive or nefarious means)!
