Love with a side of suggestions
Loving this so far! I enjoy the ability to choose how long I want to work out and right now, 20 minutes is perfect! I also like how I can schedule the workouts daily or have them reoccur weekly. I haven’t used the other features yet but I’ve heard only good things so I’m excited to try. My one suggestion would be to have the instructors show the modifications - at one point during barre, the instructor mentioned sitting on the block to avoid ankle pain but didn’t show what she meant, so I wasn’t sure how to sit to ensure I was still getting value from using the block. It could even be a picture of her showing the modification in the corner of the screen as to not interrupt the workout for those who don’t need the extra detail. Also, during Pilates, the instructor mentioned a modification to manage neck pain doing a cervical curl but didn’t explain why it might cause neck pain or how to overcome it. That added insight would’ve been helpful! Another suggestion would be to include a 5-min stretch add-on. When I did the strength workout, there was no stretch after and I’m not sure if that’s because I am doing the 20-min program but having a stretch “workout” I can add to my day’s plan would be great! Finally, and this might be a long shot but I wish we could rate and comment on recipes and see what others have rated them. Nothing I’ve noted here is a lack in the app by any means, just some ideas to make it even better!

High quality workouts
I was an OG SLAM user and love this app as well. The best thing by far about Ashley’s apps is the high quality content. Second is the continuous additions and improvements. Clearly this team cares about the details and its users. I look forward to being able to add non-app workouts into the weekly planning element of the app (i.e. a run or maybe even a SLAM workout if I am in the mood for some HITT?!). It would also be amazing if we could switch up the order of the program. I know this is tricky because the order is purposeful, but if I work my back with a trainer one day, it would be great to be able to skip or reorder the workouts in the program to account for that.
