About monnett
monnett gives it back.
Your feed, your rules.
Finally.
Today algorithms decide what you see, when you see it, and whether your voice even counts.
They’ve turned connection into manipulation.
Today you may have 50,000 followers on a Big Tech platform, but only 500 see what you post.
That’s not right.
monnett is different
It’s the first social network designed in Europe that hands the power back to you.
• Choose how much influence the algorithm has, or none at all.
• Choose how far your feed reaches, from your street to the whole world.
• Choose friends and meaning over noise.
It’s not about being anti-social media.
It’s about making social media human again.
You’ll join monnett if you believe connection should feel like a conversation, not like gambling.
You’ll choose monnett because you want your data to remain yours.
You will love monnett because control over your feed is freedom to shape your culture.
There’s no profiling. No hidden agenda. No secret algorithm deciding what matters.
You choose what you see: friends, creators, or new voices. You decide how far your feed goes, from your town to the entire world.
What you get:
• Photos, videos, and stories worth actually sharing with friends;
• Private messages that stay private;
• A community that sees what you share;
• A feed you design, not one that designs you.
Big Tech wants to capture your attention.
monnett is here to set it free.
From Europe, with love (and privacy!)

CANNOT
get by the 'Your Data, Your Choices' lockscreen, no matter what (iOS 26.3 public beta), so cannot access the app, except a peek before the lockscreen goes up. BTW, what it says about the privacy policy here is a lie; compare the actual Terms of Service.

may have potential but marketing wise not a great impression
some interesting feed control but seems misleading to boast it’s the first social media designed in europe to return power to the user when you could make that claim for mastodon, and for that matter there is no mention or presence on the fediverse but they’re on x which is like seeing a swastika on a website
