About Watch Tracker - Collection
Measure how your watches really run - day by day.
Watch Tracker helps you record accuracy, spot trends, and catch issues like magnetism, all with a clean workflow made for collectors and tinkerers.
Build your collection
- Add each watch with a friendly guided form (help tips included).
- Edit or remove any time—by default you can track one watch; unlock unlimited with a one-time in-app purchase.
Record accuracy in seconds per day (SPD)
- Start a measurement and tap when your watch matches the reference time.
- We color-code the result (fast/slow) and calculate seconds per day, the standard way enthusiasts and chronometer tests express rate. View history charts and long-term trends to see how your regulation or service impacted performance.

Smart reference time
- The app fetches an atomic-time-disciplined reference (with a clear progress spinner). If the network is unavailable, it gracefully falls back to device time so you never lose a session.
Capture real-world context
- Add an optional note and watch position (dial up, dial down, crown up/down/right)—the same orientations used in chronometer testing—so you can compare positional variance.
Time Sync utility
- See the current time adjusted by the atomic offset and re-sync whenever you like—useful for setting your collection precisely.
Magnetism Check
- Use your phone’s built-in magnetometer to watch the surrounding field (in μT). Set a baseline; values turn red when the field spikes beyond a safe threshold. Magnetized hairsprings often stick coils together, making a watch run fast—or even stop—so catching spikes early matters.
Exports for your records
- Share a crisp Accuracy Card (PDF/PNG) summarizing current rate and trend chart.
- Export a CSV of all measurements for your personal logs or watchmaker.
Why it helps
- Clarity: SPD + charts make performance easy to understand and compare.
- Context: Positions and comments reveal what really changes rate.
- Confidence: Atomic-time reference reduces guesswork when setting or regulating.
- Care: Magnetism is common in modern life (speakers, bags, gadgets); quick checks help you avoid surprises between services.
Thoughtful by design
- No account required.
- Works offline after first sync (network only needed for reference time).
- Fast, friendly, and built for everyday use.
Whether you’re tracking a new diver, tuning a cherished vintage piece, or keeping a whole box on-spec, Watch Tracker gives you the tools to measure, understand, and enjoy your watches more.
