Good game, but too many hints
I recently rediscovered the HOPA genre and was thrilled to find the Friendly Fox games. In general, I find all of the Friendly Fox games to be fun, slightly challenging, and of a higher caliber than some of the other HOPA brands around. (I particularly love the more difficult mini puzzles that popup). By that standard, I found the Kyiv game underwhelming. In its own right, it's a good game, however, there was almost no challenge. Every few steps there was an unprompted "hint" (the screen zoomed in and showed exactly what to do next), there were very few (and pretty simple) multi-location moments (needing to go between locations freely), and overall a rigidity to this game that made it kinda boring. It was one of their F2P games so I'm not really upset, just disappointed. As it was the last game from Friendly Fox I had left to play, I played it through. If you are new to the HOP genre, this may be a good starter game since it is a very simple/non-challenging one to help get the hang of it. Overall, I know Friendly Fox can do better. Thank you for being a pretty consistent, quality developer in the genre though! (p.s. I hope to see some new / un-used and challenging mini-puzzles in future games.)
