About Birder - Bird Identifier Game
Birder is a real-life collecting game. Your goal is simple: fill every empty slot in your region’s deck.
Every bird species starts as a locked, grey silhouette. To reveal the card, you have to find the bird in the real world. Whether you are walking to work or exploring a new city, you are playing the game.
You have two ways to unlock a bird:
1) Snap a photo for automatic recognition.
2) Use Manual Entry to log species you recognize yourself.
Watch the grey silhouette flip to reveal your capture, bringing you one step closer to completing the set.
Game Features:
- Build Your Collection: Start with an empty board of silhouettes. Watch your gallery fill up as you unlock birds, building a unique deck of your finds.
- Capture & Log: Unlock new entries instantly using the camera, or manually check off species you identify to keep your collection growing.
- Regional Decks: Every location, from North America to Europe, has its own unique set to complete. Master your home region, then conquer other regions when travelling.
- Track Your Stats: See exactly how many birds are left to find to reach 100% completion in your area.
Birder is a subscription-based app. All features require a paid subscription.
