About Running 530
Running530 is a lightweight GPS running tracker focused on the essentials. See distance, pace, and speed in real time, stay consistent with goals, and get voice coaching while you run.
Accurate GPS distance tracking
Uses the Haversine formula for distance calculation.
Shows GPS accuracy as ± meters.
Updates distance only after at least 3 meters of movement to reduce GPS drift.
Real-time pace and speed
Current pace (min:sec per km), average pace, and current speed (km/h).
Current pace is calculated with a 20-second rolling window to smooth short GPS fluctuations.
Automatic laps (splits)
Adjustable lap distance from 500 m to 5 km.
Records lap time and lap pace automatically.
Voice announcement when a lap completes.
Goal setting and progress
Session goals: set a distance goal (1–20 km) or a time goal (30 minutes–2 hours) and get an alert when you reach it.
Weekly/monthly goals: default weekly 20 km and monthly 80 km goals with a clear progress view.
Voice coaching (TTS)
Time updates every 5 or 10 minutes with elapsed time, distance, and pace.
Pace coach with a target pace (4:00–10:00 per km) and guidance when you are faster or slower than the target.
90-second cooldown to prevent excessive notifications.
Ghost mode
Race against your past runs by choosing a previous session as a Ghost.
Shows real-time distance difference and announces when you are ahead or behind.
Stats and history
Elapsed time (hh:mm:ss.ms), distance, current/average pace, speed, and elevation gain.
Calorie estimate based on MET.
Saves the latest 20 sessions with detailed views per run.
Delete runs anytime.
Run-friendly utilities
Screen lock to prevent accidental touches.
Low power mode support.
Ads: a banner may appear during a run, and an interstitial may appear when viewing history.
Korean and English language support.

Data storage
No backend required. Data is stored on-device (LocalStorage).
Sessions and settings are saved automatically.
