"EUAlert!" App: **For Emergency University Clients ONLY**
EUAlert! is a Smartphone application that immediately alerts nearby trained lay responders to the scene of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) or other medical emergency and notifies them of the location of the nearest emergency equipment. EUAlert! also delivers real-time instructions to employees and response teams for non-medical emergencies such as fires, floods, or earthquakes.
Emergency University's (EU) mission is to empower the lay public to respond to medical emergencies, such as Sudden Cardiac Arrests (SCA) and non-medical emergencies such as evacuation with competence and confidence.
Currently, the most common point of failure in providing a rapid and effective response to SCA is the bystander's hesitance to intervene. EUAlert! was developed to empower the bystander to participate in the chain of survival by initiating an immediate call to trained responders. The bystander, with his smartphone application at the ready, can now simply and easily provide the vital link to initiating the emergency response, one of the most essential components required to save a life.
Emergency University’s patented EU-Alert! and SmartResponse™ have been used by our clients for over 3 years to conduct emergency response drills and evaluate the effectiveness of the emergency response system. Emergency University provides program managers with the tools they need to ensure that they have a facility specific emergency response plan, an emergency specific alarm system, and the ability to conduct drills to evaluate the effectiveness of the emergency response system design.
Emergency University currently targets large organizations, such as corporate communities and government agencies that are headed by motivated Health and Safety Directors who seek to provide the safest possible workplace for their employees. The entire workforce can be equipped with EUAlert! ensuring a rapid response to emergencies. If providing a safe workplace is the goal of your organization, call Emergency University at 1-866-AED-HELP for your free WorkSafe consultation!
