How languages should be learned! I have a college degree in a foreign language, and had been trying to use DuoLingo to learn other languages. I was frustrated with DuoLingo as there was no structure for learning, and sentences I’d never use (when will a penguin ever eat an apple???) This app not only teaches using solid language basics, but also gives logic and reasoning behind why certain aspects of the language are used. I’m thinking about telling all of my polyglot friends to switch over to Babble!

This app is all about writing. It’s not very applicable for a vacation visit. As a person planning a visit to a French speaking area I really don’t care how to say I am a professor. Are you an IT specialist.

Feature suggesrion
I like it so far, but have a strong suggestion. There should be more audio annunciation for different places within the app such as Grammar Practice especially and the word of the day. I want to hear the word of the day a few times and it just plays at the one time in the beginning, same suggestion in other places of the app where it is a read only text. I think any text that is in the language that is being learned there should be a small button or function where I can hear it being said. It would help me immensely instead I’m having to copy your words and play them in another app in order to hear it.

I was using Duo and it was kinda weird this explains a lot and makes spelling and pronunciation easier to learn much better language app
