Hey Hnnan

Concerns Regarding Podcat Subscription Model

Dear Jeanette Müller, I hope this email finds you well. I am a current user and supporter of Podcat, and I recently came across the announcement regarding the introduction of a subscription payment model for the app. While I appreciate the need for sustainable financing to support ongoing development and improvements, I have some concerns about the decision to initiate a subscription model, especially for users who have already made a purchase. It seems challenging that paid users are not provided any leeway or consideration in this new approach. As a loyal user, I have enjoyed the benefits of Podcat and believe in supporting its continued growth. However, the sudden shift to a subscription-only model without offering options or benefits to existing paid users raises questions about the fairness and inclusivity of this decision. I understand the importance of securing a stable source of revenue, but I urge you to consider how this change impacts the user experience for those who have already invested in your app. Perhaps there could be a more gradual transition or additional perks for long-term supporters to ensure a smoother and more inclusive adoption of the subscription model. I value the work you have put into developing Podcat and hope that we can find a solution that balances the financial needs of the project with the satisfaction of your existing user base. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards
