Great church app with a couple suggestions.
I appreciate Hopevale Church because it is a big body of believers. I appreciate that it is a Bible believing body, and I appreciate that they have the ability to lead people to Christ! I appreciate the app because it makes things like giving, watching services I cannot attend, and has the potential to connect us in ways not possible years ago. I think that the app does need work though, in utilization of communication and church services such as serving. Every service seems to suggest people to serve. Why are the positions needed for volunteers not listed on the app and why am I not able to claim a position to volunteer for via the app? Why is the group life not more easily accessible? The app should be something we want to use for everything pertaining to the church…. That’s how you get the younger generation to want to participate. The Hopevale app is one of the better church apps that I have seen, though.

What can I say? It’s an application.
Hello there, my name is Shaun. I attend Hopevale. The app needs a lot of work, for those of us with visual impairments. I use apples built-in screen reader called VoiceOver. To me, (when browsing the app), most of what I see looks like plain text. To put it into perspective, I don’t see links or buttons. I mainly have to just assume that what I’m tapping on is either a link or a button. If you could please fix this, that would be wonderful. I would be more than happy to assist you with beta testing this application, (voluntarily.) Thank you very much for your time, and I look forward to answering any questions you may have. It’s been months now, and the app has not been fixed. Please fix this application. Many months have passed, since my last edited portion of the review. No work has been done, to improve Accessibility, for those of us with low vision, or blindness. A sermon was preached, telling us to be sure to use the gifts that God has given us. The gift that God has given me, is to assist others with technical issues, like providing feedback on ways to make applications, accessible, to those who are blind or have low vision. all I ask, is that if you don’t plan to make this application accessible, is that you please tell me so, in the option to reply to this review. Thank you, and I hope you have a blessed day.
