Too many issues

I’ve worked for several companies now that switched to Complete Flight. The first was a small Part 135 company that didn’t have an official manifest app or software. In this particular instance, the app was essentially overkill, because the work that went into building manifests for different legs completely outweighed the benefit on a flight leg as short as 10 minutes. The second company now that I’ve worked for that has implemented this app purchased it and forced its implementation, even though it already used software that worked well and also included fuel usage. We were forced to use this app under the guise of measuring every aspect of flight metrics (leg times, on scene times, lift times, etc.) without ANY input from anyone that had used it before. The initial ‘rollout’ was pushed back several times due to problems communicating with maintenance software. Since it’s been rolled out, we have experienced a LOT of bugs. We are 10 months into using this app, and just this week the night pilot and myself have experienced issues that no one in the app management team for the company have been able to explain. For example, while trying to remain proactive, I prebuilt several legs on a flight. While trying to adjust leg times for each leg, I was unable to adjust the landing/takeoff times. The night pilot just got off the phone with our dispatcher trying to figure out why his flight he completed was interfering with a journey log that doesn’t exist. I’ve also seen several instances where the app was adding cycles to the aircraft to the point that it was timing out engines. In my opinion, this company and its app usage is likely outside the purview of this app. Too many moving parts (flight telemetry being adjusted on both ends of the dispatch process) and we’ve seen too many problems with the software itself.
