About ColorWheelFree

Color Wheel is an application to help people (programmers, designers, etc...) find sets of colors that work well together. Choose between Complimentary, Analogous, Triadic, Split-Complimentary, Tetradic, and Square color schemes. Adjust the tint / shade and transparency of the color. Once you have a set (palette) that you like, share it (Twitter, Facebook, email, copy to pasteboard, etc...)

Ignore the clueless negative reviews

This is a simple but functional RGB color wheel. The negative reviews are mistaking it for an incorrect RYB color wheel (used by painters in a subtractive pigment world). If you don’t know the difference, google color theory and color vision. It'll be a wonderful rabbit hole ending in the realization that color isn’t real. The only complaint I have with this app is the inability to mix hues of different lightness or saturation in the same scheme. Real life schemes usually need more variety in multiple dimensions.

Colors wrong place on wheel

As other reviews state colors wrong place. Red and blue are not complements! Even the directions say red and green are complements. Otherwise would be a nice app to have.
