Barfield Inc. designs and manufactures Ground Support Test Equipment (GSTE) and is improving the aircraft maintenance industry one App at a time. Barfield's new and innovative app transforms any iOS tablet or cellphone into a wireless remote control for the DPS1000 and the 1811NG.

Additionally, two available features enhance the user experience:
1) The app will detect whether a new firmware version is available when connected to the DPS1000/1811NG through the embedded secure Wi-Fi and automatically will prompt the user to proceed with the upgrade if necessary.
2) The split-screen feature allows users to operate the app while simultaneously opening PDF documents previously downloaded from Dropbox.

The latest iPhone support allows the user to access the app through their cellphones with the same capabilities as the iPad.

Ground Support Test Equipment are used for testing aircraft Pitot-Static/Air Data systems. They are fully automated and boast a user friendly interface with color touch screen and programmable test routines. With this new generation of aircraft line maintenance testing through a tablet/cellphone app, Barfield is helping its market and industry take a giant step forward with reliable, economical and universal Air Data testers.
