Piped is an active data application designed for the pipeline industry to be used in the field.
Process Data – General details of the pipeline are entered
Surveying – Details can be entered along with record photos
Filling – GPS positions the fill point and volumes are worked out from flowrates entered
Swabbing – GPS positions swab launch and reception and volumes are calculated from flowrates entered
Pressure Testing PE – Pressure test results are calculated in accordance with IGN 4 1 03, you get a countdown to readings and positioning with GPS
Pressure Testing DI – Pressure test results are calculated in accordance with IGN 4 1 03, you get a countdown to readings, a 15 minute provisional result and positioning with GPS
Chlorination – GPS positions the chlorination point, flowrates are used to calculate volumes and record photos back up chlorine strength entries
Dechlorination - GPS positions the dechlorination point, flowrates are used to calculate volumes and record photos back up chlorine strength entries
Flushing – GPS positions the flushing point and flowrates are used to calculate volumes
Sampling – Records of each sample are taken with chlorine and turbidity levels, gps is utilised to position each sample taken and the point they are taken to.
Other data is captured detailing the equipment utilised and consumables used.
