About Slim - weight and BMI tracker
In today’s times, maintaining a healthy weight (i.e. BMI 19 to 25) is hard, but it’s a crucial part to staying healthy. Weight loss research has shown that losing weight has many positive effects: You will feel more energized, sleep better, improve your immune system, lower your blood pressure and even increase your sex drive.
Slim helps you on your journey to reach and keep your desired weight. It can remind you of stepping onto the scale, lets you set a target weight and motivates you through rewards you can unlock.
Slim is fully integrated into Apple Health. This means that Slim can import all weight data from other apps and from peripheral devices such as WiFi scales (e.g. Withings WiScale) which integrate Apple Health. So, if you're already using another weight tracker with Apple Health integration, switching is easy since all data will be directly imported to Slim.

App was given a lobotomy yesterday.
I have used the Slim app for years, and even though it would not reload saved data from years of use when I bought a new phone a few years ago, I continued using it because it was simple to use, the data was easily interpreted and it was very easy to add data to. Well, all that has changed! I went to add a new weight number this morning and encountered a whole load of problems. First, the dashboard was unrecognizable. Well, I figured even though it was pretty horrible, I might get used to it. Second everything was in metric which after hunting around, I was able to change easily enough. But the two other issues I encountered, basically have me looking for a new app for the purpose of tracking my weight. First, the target weight was NOT what I set some years ago, and have steadily made progress towards. Instead, it had a target weight over 250 HIGHER than my current weight. Okay, so I change it to my long established target weight and save it. Except, it did not change. And after many, many attempts to correct it, no luck! Then came problem two. I added my new weight, now just two pounds exactly from my goal weight this morning, and even though I added the weight exactly to the tenth of a pound, what it recorded was 555.6 pounds. I made many, many more attempts to add and save the correct weight of 252.0 lbs. only to have the same wrong weight of 555.6 lbs be displayed. Oh, and the very convenient scrolling bar that allowed you to just scroll to your weight by tenths of a pound, now is a keyboard where you have to enter the digits manually - another strike against using this app anymore. I even tried reloading the updated app. Nothing changed or was corrected. I searched for a means of contacting the developers directly to alert them to the issues created by their changes, but nowhere in the app was there a means to do so and the help section drops you into an essentially useless FAQ and a search bar that couldn’t fine even the simplest answer regarding resetting the goal weight. BTW, the pictures shown of what the app is supposed to look like are the way it looked BEFORE the developers destroyed it. I will check back to see if they correct these problems with their now unusable app, but will now have to waste time searching through the dozens and dozens of other weight tracking apps for one that will do what this one used to do. Too bad!

The app does not track correctly and support team does not help.
Although I have been using the app daily, my progress has not been stored correctly and my measurement inputs have not been able to be updated properly. I have reached out to support in various way, which were all very difficult to find. I’ve even left support tickets but they are just continually deleted. If you are serious about your nutritional and health / weight goals, this is not the app I would recommend. I needed to provide data to a dr for health reasons and serious health concerns and this was very unhelpful and disappointing.
