TecAmazônia brings together sustainable technologies developed by Embrapa's research centers in the Amazon biome, with its partners: cultivars, agricultural practices, agro-industrial processes, courses, methodologies, among other types.

The application can be used by rural producers, extension workers, public managers and private organizations, or anyone with an interest in sustainable development in the Amazon biome through technology.

It was developed as part of the Interaction, exchange and construction of knowledge and communication project in the Amazon Fund (Amazocom) projects, one of the 19 projects carried out by Embrapa, which make up the Integrated Amazon Project (PIAmz). PIAmz is financed by the Amazon Fund and operated by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment.
