Students must identify each raw material and its function in the following formulations: Phase A (cetyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol and sodium cetylstearyl sulfate - Lanette N); Phase B (decyl oleate, disodium EDTA, glycerin, water) and; Phase C (Optiphen™ - Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol). After identification, the student must prepare the cosmetic emulsion.
