Zadul Ma'ad (Arabic: زاد المعاد) in full Zad al-Ma'ad fi Hadyi Khairil Ibad is a book written by Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah regarding the sirah nabawi. Its uniqueness compared to sirah books in general is that this book is arranged according to fiqh categories taken from the life story of the prophet. This book was written by Ibnul Qayyim when he was traveling on his camel to perform the pilgrimage from Damascus to Mecca. This book was written in a state of travel difficulties at that time, there was also no reference book and it only relied on sincerity and memory ability, even though the results were very accurate with a few small errors. This shows the competence of the author of this book on the discussion he is working on. In fact, this book is considered one of his best works. This book is an important source in seeking knowledge based on the story of the prophet ﷺ's life journey and the jurisprudence it contains.
