Tarawih prayers (sometimes called Teraweh or Taraweeh) is a special prayer sunnat performed only in Ramadan. Tarawih in Arabic is a form jama 'of ترويحة which is defined as "a moment to rest". The timing of this is sunnat prayer after Isha ', usually performed in congregation in the mosque. Interesting facts about this prayer is that the prophet S.A.W only ever do it in congregation in 3 attempts. Mentioned that the prophet S.A.W then do not continue on subsequent nights for fear that it would be compulsory for the Muslim Ummah
