About Cosedimoda
The CoSedimosa application was created by AEDIT s.r.l. as part of the project - Seggiano oil consortium and quality production increase: an olive growing model that arises from the comparison between cultivated and abandoned (Co.Se.di.mod.a) - funded under the 2014-2020 PSR of the Region Tuscany through sub-measure 16.2
The application consists of three sections that guide the olive grower in participated monitoring of the phenology of the olive tree, of the infestation of the drupes caused by the olive fly and of the catch of the olive fly in the traps placed in the olive grove.
For each section, the application provides a guided path to simplified survey directly in the field: i) for phenology, the phenological phase prevailing among those made available by the app in some representative plants is observed; ii) for the infestation of the drupes, the wounds on the drupes caused by the oviposition activity of the olive fly on at least 50 plants per week are detected (in the period July - August), obtaining the calculation of the percentage of infestation; iii) for catches, enter the number of olive fly adults caught by the traps placed in the olive grove.
The result of the surveys can be saved by assigning the name / location of the olive grove with the GPS of the active device.
For companies participating in project activities, the results of participatory monitoring are visible on the project website in the dedicated page.
