Doesn’t work after recent update
We have liked our Schlage locks for years and would rate them and the app much higher if it weren’t for their recent update. Like others have posted, our locks no longer work (which is a huge issue given one is on an Airbnb rental) since updating the app. And the locks are burning through batteries, one new set drained while we were away for the holiday. After a 50 minute call with customer service, I was told the issue is with our wifi provider, CenturyLink, and Schlage is working to fix this. I do wonder if this was simple finger pointing and if those with other wifi providers are having the same problem. In the meantime, it was suggested to reset the device and to use Bluetooth to change the codes. But so far we can’t get that to work either. I did ask why, if this is a known issue, no one is responding to app ratings to at least let people know what was happening, and was told they’ve been busy. 🫤 For now it’s back to using keys for us.

Not Good Anymore
Used to work and only occasionally dropped WiFi even though i have a mesh network and it’s only connected to 2.4 ghz. Ever since the last update nothing works and won’t connect to WiFi. Lock is useless now. Looks like i find another brand. Beware as this has been going on for a couple weeks and Schlage doesn’t seem to do anything about it. They even sent another lock and it won’t connect either. Everything else in my house connects no problems. Signal is crazy strong as well.
