About Estimote Deployment
Conveniently edit your beacons' settings via Estimote Cloud web dashboard, which will create Pending Settings. Then, use the Deployment app to apply the new configuration to any and all beacons in range. You can also bulk-update their firmware at the same time.
And just like that, your entire batch of beacons is ready to deploy!

Doesn’t work

Good looking hardware, very poor software
I have been disappointed with their beacon management software. While the earlier cloud based management — though recalcitrant — worked after a hope and a prayer, this thing just doesn’t work. It doesn’t pick-up the beacons, despite the beacon showing up on the Estimote app, and the Pally bluetooth scanner they recommend on their forums. It’s a pity. Their hardware continues to look and feel better than most. But that is useless if the software falls flat on its face.
