Time for an update

Unless I’m actively watching my cameras at the time, none of the 8 CTRONICS cameras I have will show the video in playback. I have restarted the cameras and get maybe one out of the 5 or 6 it has recorded that day to actually play. Even when I download the videos they still don’t play. Surely all six cameras are not having the same problem at the same time unless it’s a software issue. I have iPhones and this problem began around IOS 17, so I believe an update is in order to make my video captures play consistently again.

App works great

This app does not deserve bad rap. Yes there is a learning curve using and mixing the different segments but once learned they work great together. Also the support group will tweak the app if needed by giving them the uid and setting password to the default of admin while they work. I have 6 of Ctronics cameras (different versions) which I use to watch my house and also for watching and record clips of wild animals at night. I get great recordings and photos. Love the app and love the cameras.

Wrong advertising device don’t work

Yes. They have eliminated many off my reviews so this is another. Don’t believe anything. Device have many faults and have not received customer or technician support. You make that decision. My is not worthy anymore. Proof on my side after nine months and eight cameras. Is a waste of my money and time. Zero on my review.

Really great app if you’re good with tech

This app is great and works well with their cameras. It can be a little difficult to understand what to do sometimes and some words are translated to English wrong but common sense will tell you what it means. The only problems I have are if you change your wifi (or in my case I upgraded my wifi and they gave me a new router and modem) the camera can’t change the wifi it was in unless you take the camera down and reset it. My other problem is that when I mirror my iPhone to my tv through airplay the video stays vertical and doesn’t change to horizontal. It’s my only app that does it and I can kind of tell why. The app doesn’t actually turn horizontal when you look at the camera it only looks like it and you can tell if you have a newer iPhone with no button, there’s a line at the bottom of your screen so you can return to the home page when you swipe up and normally if you turn your phone horizontally the line will turn with your phone but not with this app. I think it could be an easy fix but I’ve never made an app before just making a suggestion for a fix. But again this app works great with the cameras and I’ll probably be buying more!
