About Jobsoid Video
Video Interviews are changing the way most companies recruit in today’s modern world.
This would be a one-way interview and will help the employer to know you better. You will be presented with one question at a time and be allotted a certain duration of time to prepare your answer. Once the preparation time elapses, the recording will begin.
Once you complete the interview the recorded answers are sent to the interviewer for review.
Here are some tips we recommend you read before you start the interview:
- Record the interview in a well lit and quiet environment
- Make sure you have a good internet connection to upload your video interview
- Make sure you are not interrupted by calls/messages during the interview
- Do not quit/pause the app once you start the interview
- If you do exit the interview after starting, you will not be allowed to restart

Excellent job screen app
This app has been a game changer for our company. It’s allowed us to interview applications more easily as we don’t need to do part of our screening process live. This is great for both the candidate and the company! We do a 4 question video screening survey which takes less than 5 minutes to complete. We also offer a pre-recorded video of our company to make this less one sided. If we encourage a 1 way video recording, why can’t the interviewee get this as well. Finding the right company and candidate is a two way street, it must be good for everyone! This is the modern approach to interviewing at scale. Thanks again for a great app!

Doesn’t Work
A good idea in theory, but the app was unable to upload all of my video responses. I was told by the support team I would have to ask for a rescheduled interview from my prospective employer directly. That’s not the kind of request people want to make to a recruiter when they’re hoping to get hired. Sorry, but this app needs more work.
