I have updated the app, restarted the device, restarted the phone and I still I can’t connect.

Don’t Upgrade IF
If you have an older model BeBird like the R1, and it works, don’t upgrade the app. I have the app installed on both iOS and Android. After I upgraded the Android version, my mobile device would’t see the BeBird at all. BeBird support was of no help.
