Impossible to use
This app is impossible to use reliably. The scanner requires the absolute perfect conditions in order for it to read any barcode and I’ve tried multiple items. It’s just not good. The devs need to fix this but it looks like any work on the app has basically stopped. It has the aesthetics of an iOS 1 app. —edit: The dev team is now asking me to produce examples of barcodes that I’m unable to scan, however, in the review I left it very clearly states that this is on ANY barcode I (or my team) attempt to scan. The use of digital zoom is poorly implemented and the inability to use the barcode scanner in landscape mode makes it a real chore to work with this app and this is only our initial testing of the app. We’ve tried various phones from the 7 all the way to the 12 pro max so this is not related to device capability, camera quality or iOS version. Let’s see if they can resolve this issue.
