An ok platform to develop your skills but they rely on you being uneducated about the market, about fair rates, your own rights as a worker, etc. Apparently the app used to be good but they brought in a new CEO and they aren’t managing things well. The app is going downhill because they are missing sight of the overall picture of how tasks get done The equation is extremely skewed in favor of the customer over the Tasker. Tasker can’t reply to reviews, has to write to customer support constantly, etc. Huge commission fees to the customer that aren’t reflected in the quality of service they provide. They don’t want to cover claims (no insurance, just an exorbitant “Happiness Pledge” that allows them to choose what they want to cover or not). Lazy customer support as well. Good way to learn skills if you’re inexperienced but try to build your business off the platform asap.

I recommend everyone looking to sign on to be a Tasker for tax grab needs to look at all the negative reviews from other Tasker. They are all true. The customer service does not care about Tasker. They don’t even care about task rabbit. They care about is money they will suspend your account over the little list of things. And take your money they took $500 from me and block me off the app. Terrible terrible terrible customer service can never get a hold of anyone in the policy team that makes alldecisions you can only talk to customer service and they tell you every time you’re on the phone with them that they cannot do anything would would really be aware of all the negatives before signing onto Taskrabbit
