Terrible platform. Unreliable
Booked a mover to move one large item from Stamford to Long Island. I provided the exact measurements, weight, model and photos. Was given a quote. In several hours I was assigned a mover. My credit card was charged. On the day of the move received a message from my mover that he was on his way to pickup the item. Several hrs passed. Mover did not show up. Did not answer texts. Tried to contact Dolly. Took an hour to ahold of someone at Dolly. CSR looked up my move number and said “your move was cancelled”. Dolly has a limit of 300 lbs for items to be moved. No contact. No email. No text. Now I’m stuck on a Saturday with a heavy item to move at the last minute. Will not use Dolly again. The platform has few options for customer service and is very opaque.
