You can create your own material palettes manually or import ready-made palettes from the Needleply app. This helps you keep only the materials you actually use, without duplicates or clutter.
In the app you can:
• add materials to Favorites for quick access;
• add materials to Stock to always know what you already have;
• add materials to Purchases to keep your shopping list always at hand;
• add materials to Projects to simplify preparation (missing items are automatically moved from Stock to your Shopping List for unfinished projects).

Too hard to figure out!
I spent forever trying to figure out how to add my thread inventory. And ads! Ugh!!

Please Reverse Update Changes
I always had a few minor issues with this app, mainly UI issues (like 1-click transfer from shopping list to stash versus their convoluted process), but this newest update has made the app virtually unusable. I can no longer look at a specific color to see which patterns I have marked need it. I can’t just mark that a pattern has that color, it wants a skein allotment. I’ve used this app for quite awhile, but it looks like I’ll need to find another app.

So many ads now!
I’ve had this app for a few years and have loved how it helps me plan purchases for new projects; however, recently it’s gotten to a point where I have an ad every time I add a thread color to a project. It’s kind of obnoxious now and takes way longer to get things organized since the ads won’t close for 5 seconds each time.

So useful for floss inventory and projects
I have come to rely on this app for managing all the floss I’ve bought over the years, and love the ability to quickly track what I need to buy when I plan a new project. Some of the UI flows aren’t the most intuitive, but the utility vastly outweighs any difficulty. I would highly recommend this app for any embroiderer/stitcher.
