About Zecrets

Zecrets enables you to manage all your passwords, cards and other information safely encrypted on your own device. Easy to use interface for storing and maintaining your secret information. Easy access protection with pincode. Supports Touch ID and Face ID.

Zecrets are organised in Zecret Groups. Zecret Groups can be named and renamed, examples of common names are "Banking", "Web Shops". Zecret Groups can be shared and synchronized with trusted users.

Zecret Groups can contain multiple Zecrets of three types: Keys, Cards and Letters. Keys can be used for your web and app passwords. Apples Autofill feature for filling in passwords for Apps and Websites can be activated for Zecrets in your iPhone settings. Keys stored in Zecrets will be directly available for AutoFill, unless sealed. Sealed Keys, Cards and Letters are never available for AutoFill.

Zecret Groups can optionally be sealed and shared with users in your vicinity. In case of an emergency, trusted users can break the seal of a specific Zecret to enforce access. No more need to write down your secrets for your family or relatives, just simply seal & share. The AutoSeal option ensures that Zecrets are always sealed when shared with other users.

With the AutoSync option, shared Zecrets can be synchronised automatically with trusted users. This way you can make sure that your relatives have up to date information. Synchronisation is activated when users are in close range and the Zecrets App is opened. This is very secure, since no use is made of email, internet or cloud services.

Shared Zecrets cannot be changed by receiving users. They can be deleted if needed. Sealed Zecrets can be broken to allow access in case of emergency. In that case a message will be sent to inform the owner of this Zecret. Messages are exchanged securely when users are in close range and have the Zecrets App opened.

The seal of shared Zecrets can be broken, but not unbroken. It will stay broken until the next synchronisation and message exchange. Broken Zecrets can be fully accessed by the trusted user. Copying of Zecrets is o only allowed for own Zecrets and received Zecrets that are unsealed (or broken).
Unsealed (or broken) Keys received from other users will also be made available for AutoFill, but with a lower ranking.

Supports back-up of your secrets in comma-separated text format (csv files). The back-up file contains all own Zecrets. Received Zecrets cannot be backed-up for security reasons. The back-up file can be inspected or updated in Numbers as a spreadsheet. Restoring Zecrets from a back-up file in this csv format will load the information in the Zecret Groups, replacing all Zecrets in that group. Non-existing groups will be added, unmentioned groups will stay unchanged. So the restore functionality can be used for adding Zecret Groups and Zecrets. Zecret Groups and Zecrets are identified by an unique id, leaving this id empty will create a new one with a new id.
